A continuous development of the company led to larger aircrafts being served and also ventures into corporate jet aviation.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\">In 2006, the name European Maintenance Service AB was adopted when a change of ownership took place as the founder Rolf Svensson decided to retire.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">In 2010, The Cessna Textron Company selected EMS as an Authorized Service Facility (ASF) for Cessna Citation. And Williams International approved EMS as a line\u00a0maintenance service facility for the FJ44 Series engines.\u00a0<\/p><p class=\"p1\">In 2016, EMS moved from S\u00e4ve Airport to G\u00f6teborg Landvetter Airport and a newly refurbished facility with large hangars, an FBO terminal and a DMA area with parking space.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">In 2020, EMS started to service regular airline customers with a newly set up team of experienced line maintenance technicians.<\/p><p class=\"p1\">In October 2022 the sister company ELM was formed and the airline line maintenance branch was transferred into the new company. EMS remains with base maintenance Business jets with service center status on several brands, and a wide component capability.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-417378f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"417378f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Today<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-835deb8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"835deb8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Every aspect of our business is characterized by a long-term and sustainable approach. <\/span>We strongly believe in the competence and flexibility of the organization with the support of lean processes, systems and infrastructure.
